The 2nd International Games for the Deaf Tennis Certificate was awarded to Lenore Dawson when she won a Gold Medal, playing in the Ladies Doubles with Elsie Mountain. The Games were held at Amsterdam, Holland, in August 1928. Lenore donated the certificate to Melinda Napier who in turn donated it to the Deaf Museum along with other National Deaf Club artefacts. It is not known what had happened to her Gold Medal.

The 1928 2nd International Games for the Deaf (now named as Deaflympics) were not the only Games Leonore played in as she played in the 1931 and 1935 Games as well. The 2nd International Games for the Deaf were held in Amsterdam, Holland, during the week of 18-26 August. Lenore won a Gold Medal for Ladies Doubles, playing with Marjorie Durlacher against the French pair, E. Boissolot and A. Petry. She also gained a Silver Medal for Mixed Doubles, playing with Owen Maxwell, losing to Antoine Dresse and Antonine Maere, famous Belgian tennis players. (Antoine Dresse was a co-founder of the Comite International des Sports Silencieux and initiated The Dresse Cup in 1960). The 1931 3rd International Games for the Deaf were staged in Nuremberg, Germany, during the week of 19–23 August and Lenore won a Bronze Medal for playing in Ladies Doubles with Elsie Mountain. In her last Games Lenore was partnered with Marjorie Durlacher in the 5th International Games for the Deaf Ladies Doubles and in the Final and they lost heavily to the Belgian sisters, Antonine and Germaine Maere 6–0, 6–1 but as a consolation they gained a Silver Medal.
